Girls Math Academy - 6th - 8th Grade
The Girls Math Academy for 6th through 8th grade is for girls who would like to sharpen math skills in an environment that recognizes the amazingness and the strength of each girl. The 6th through 8th grade Girls Math Academy will present a selection from the following concepts: an understanding of ratio concepts and further understanding of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of fractions; understand the generation of equivalent expressions, understand the difference between rational/irrational numbers as well as evaluate and solve linear equations.
